so instead of doing the usual and going to hell last night, nikkie and i decided that we were going to have an all-out girls night [complete with pizza, the simple life, and of course, wine].

it was somewhere between the second and third bottle of wine that the concept of DRUNKART was born.  we grabbed my watercolors, some paper, markers, post-its, etc...and went crazy.  it was so much fun.  even bri joined in when she got home!

so i spent about five hours at the hospital today waiting to see what was wrong with my brother. poor kid. the last place i'd want to spend my birthday is in the emergency room. apparently he'd been sick since 5am and was vomiting all day, so jessica and dennis brought him to the ER. they did a blood test, some x-rays, and a cat scan [they thought he might have appendicitis] but everything appeared fine. so they let him out at around 10pm and i dropped him and jess off at their apartment.

in other [better] news, i made some progress on one of my pictures. however, i cannot post it right now because my only means of getting it online is by uploading it via sidekick. however the sk3 is being a cocksmith* right now and isn't connecting to the internet. damn you, technology.

bleh. i should probably go to bed anyway. i have to get up mad early tomorrow for a psych test.

* = the word "cocksmith" is (c) nikkie riot...credit where credit is due. :D
